Léon Stassen Senior is a well-known figure in the restaurant scene of the Pays d’Herve. He has more than 44 years of experience under the belt: from the Omnisport Hall of Henri-Chapelle to the famous ‘Café Pasteger’ in Aubel to finally settling at Val-Dieu where he ruled, with his son Léon as his right hand, at the local bistro “ Le Casse-Croute du Val- Dieu”.
Today faith is pushing them towards a new adventure. By crossing the road they take over the Moulin de Val-Dieu, a fixture on the site of the Val-Dieu Abbey where they will help you discover the simple yet very tasty local cuisine, made with finest local produce.
The menu card can also be adapted for your private events such as communions, anniversaries, etc..
Léon Stassen Father & Son are now ready to welcome you at their new address with a big smile, kind words and the great sense of humour they are renowned for.
